What this policy covers
This policy explains what data the App handles, how it is stored, and your rights.
Summary (plain English)
- We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
- All medication schedules, doses, and history are stored on your device only.
- Notifications are generated on-device; they don’t send your data to us.
- You can delete all data by deleting it in-app or uninstalling the App.
Data we handle (on your device)
- Medication data you enter (e.g., medicine names, schedules, marks as taken/skipped).
- Local settings (e.g., notification lead time, timezone-aware preferences).
This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Optional device services
- Notifications: Used to deliver reminder alerts. iOS asks for your permission. No data leaves your device due to notifications.
- Backups: If you enable iCloud or device backups, Apple may back up the App’s local data as part of your device backup. We do not control Apple’s backup services.
No tracking, no analytics, no ads
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not use identifiers for advertising (IDFA).
Legal basis (GDPR/UK GDPR)
- Processing occurs locally on your device to provide the App’s core functionality at your request. We do not act as a controller for your in-app content, as we do not receive or access it.
- If you email us, we will process your email solely to respond to your query.
Data sharing and international transfers
None. We do not receive your in-app data and do not transfer it.
Data retention
- Your in-app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Any support emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Security
Your data is stored using iOS’s local storage mechanisms (on-device). Please keep your device updated and secured with a passcode/Face ID/Touch ID.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store your in-app data, requests like access, rectification, or deletion should be performed by you directly on the device (edit or delete data in-app, or uninstall the App). If you contact us about personal data you have emailed to us, we will assist in exercising your rights under applicable law.
Children
Havnlink is intended for general audiences. If a child uses the App, no data is collected or transmitted to us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect the App’s capabilities or legal requirements. We will update the date above and publish the new version at this URL.
